WitChess Official Rules

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Welcome to WitChess. These rules govern participation in ranked matches, leaderboard competitions, WitCoin rewards, and USDT prize distributions.

By creating an account and participating in WitChess, you agree to these rules.

1. Eligibility

To participate in WitChess:

• You must comply with the laws of your country.
• You must maintain only one account unless explicitly approved by WitShells.
• You must provide accurate account information.
• You must not use automated software, bots, scripts, or external tools to gain an unfair advantage.

WitShells reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

2. Game Modes

Ranked Matches

Ranked matches affect leaderboard standings.

Features:

• WitCoin stake required.
• Winner receives the match reward according to platform rules.
• Leaderboard points awarded.
• Stake multiplier may apply.

Supported stake levels may include:

• 1 WIT
• 5 WIT
• 10 WIT
• 100 WIT

Additional stake levels may be introduced in future updates.

Free Matches

Free matches:

• Require no WitCoin stake.
• Award leaderboard points on victory.
• Do not affect prize pool funding.

Local WiFi Matches

Local matches:

• Require no stake.
• Award no leaderboard points.
• Are intended solely for casual play.

3. Leaderboard Scoring

Leaderboard rankings are determined by the WitChess scoring system.

Current scoring values include:

Additional bonus points may be awarded for:

• Login streaks
• Special events
• Seasonal competitions
• Promotional activities

WitShells may adjust scoring formulas between cycles.

Any changes will be announced before the affected cycle begins.

4. Stake Multipliers

Ranked victories may receive score multipliers based on WitCoin stake size.

Current multipliers:

Multipliers may be updated in future seasons.

5. Competition Cycles

Leaderboard competitions operate in cycles.

At the end of each cycle:

1. Scores are finalized.
2. Rankings are calculated.
3. Rewards are distributed.
4. Leaderboard scores reset for the next cycle.

Cycle duration may vary and will be announced in advance.

6. Prize Pool Funding

Prize pools may be funded through:

• Platform advertising revenue
• Sponsorship agreements
• Promotional campaigns
• Other approved funding sources

Prize pools are not guaranteed.

The size of each prize pool depends on actual funding available during the cycle.

7. Prize Distribution

USDT rewards are distributed according to final leaderboard rankings.

The number of winners may vary based on platform activity.

Example winner tiers:

Actual distributions may differ based on operational requirements.

Prize structures are announced before payout calculations begin.

8. WitCoin Rewards

Separate WitCoin reward pools may be distributed even when no USDT pool exists.

WitCoin rewards:

• Have no cash value.
• Cannot be purchased.
• Cannot be exchanged directly for fiat currency.
• May be used within supported WitChess features.

9. Withdrawals

USDT withdrawals may require:

• Identity verification where legally required.
• Compliance checks.
• Minimum withdrawal thresholds.

Current withdrawal settings:

• Minimum withdrawal: $30 USD equivalent.
• Processing fee: 5%.

These values may change over time.

10. Fair Play Policy

The following activities are prohibited:

• Cheating
• Engine assistance
• Automated gameplay
• Match fixing
• Win trading
• Multi-accounting
• Account sharing
• Exploiting bugs
• Manipulating rankings

Violations may result in:

• Match forfeiture
• Score removal
• Reward cancellation
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account termination

11. Anti-Cheat Investigations

WitShells reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity.

Actions may include:

• Match review
• Statistical analysis
• Engine correlation checks
• Manual moderation review

Rewards may be delayed while investigations are ongoing.

12. Platform Availability

WitChess services may be interrupted due to:

• Maintenance
• Technical issues
• Security incidents
• Force majeure events

WitShells is not responsible for losses resulting from service interruptions.

13. Rule Changes

These rules may be updated at any time.

Material changes will be published through official WitChess channels.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated rules.
